The 4” hose diameter provides effective full flow when used with a clothes dryer, as it connects to the dryer vent output to direct the flow outside. The semi-rigid aluminum hose comes with the recommendation of many clothes dryer manufacturers, and the waterproof louvered damper system helps prevent cold air, rain, snow, and pests from entering the home. Manufactured in the USA of corrosion-resistant materials, all parts are designed with excellent craftsmanship and durable construction to meet Jones Stephens’ highest quality standards. The kit includes a louvered white PVC hood, a 4” x 8’ semi-rigid aluminum hose, an 11” aluminum pipe, a collar, and 2 metal clamps.
